Buying kratom in bulk: how to compare prices and shops
Updated · Prozyum
To compare kratom prices, convert everything to price per gram or per kilo, including shipping. Buying by the kilo is usually several times cheaper per gram than small retail bags. Before paying, check for a batch-specific lab report, the stated origin, the mill fineness and how the powder is sealed.
Work out the real price per gram
Retail kratom is often sold in 25 g, 50 g or 100 g bags, which makes prices look low. Divide the price by the grams to compare like with like: a 50 g bag at €11 is €0.22 per gram, or €220 per kilo. The same kratom bought as a kilo typically costs a fraction of that.
Add shipping before you compare, and check whether the per-kilo price keeps falling at 2, 3, 5 or 10 kg. Prozyum publishes its full kilo ladder: 8% off at 2 kg, 14% at 3 kg, 20% at 5 kg and 30% at 10 kg of the same strain.
Ask for a lab report per batch
A serious supplier can show a certificate of analysis for the batch you are buying, not a single generic document. It should cover alkaloid content, heavy metals and microbes, and carry a batch number, a laboratory name and a date. Our guide to kratom lab testing lists exactly what to look for.
Check origin, mill and packing
Look for a stated origin rather than just a strain name, and for the mesh size or at least a description of how finely the powder is milled and sieved. For a kilo, packing matters: a heat-sealed, food-grade bag that is opaque to air keeps the powder in far better condition than a clip bag.
Payment and shipping
Card processors generally refuse kratom merchants, so most European kratom shops take bank transfer or crypto. That is normal in this market. What matters is that the shop gives you a clear order number, a payment reference and tracking once the order ships. Also check that the shop only ships to countries where kratom is legal: a shop that ships anywhere is not being careful.
Wholesale quantities
For 10 kg and more, most suppliers will quote per order. Ask whether the quote includes documentation for every batch in the order, and whether larger orders can be split across strains while keeping the volume price.
